Black Lives Matter

We stand in solidarity with our Black communities and others that have been disenfranchised for far too long. We acknowledge the platform we have and vow to use it from here on out to speak against systemic violence and oppression. We hope to amplify this message with actionable resources for the local community as well as for our international friends and customers.

We have been supporting black artists and black-owned record labels from the beginning by purchasing their music through official distributors and/or direct from independent artists and labels. Our record shop wouldn’t exist without black culture and music that we admire so much. However, we have a lot of learning to do, and we are here to listen.

"Remember: Jazz, blues, rock & roll, funk, soul, R&B, disco, house, and techno came from Black people"
